To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the ‘great debate of Panadura’ (පානදුරා මහා වාදය), a stamp and First Day Cover was issued by Philatelic Bureau on 26th August 2023.
The stamp issued is Rs 50 and the FDC is Rs 100. 300,000 were printed and will be available to purchase till 31st March 2027 online and till 31st December 2026 or till stocks last.
This is an important stamp and would have a great demand so philatelists are encouraged to buy the items before its too late.
