The Junior School Stamp Club of Trinity College, Kandy organised a special workshop to explore the world of stamp collecting. The workshop was attended by close to 50 young eager students who wanted to expand their knowledge on stamp collecting.
The workshop was blessed with the attendance of well known philatelic speaker Samantha Niroshana Pieris of ‘Kiyawana Muddara’. Also present were Rohan Fernando (president of Kandy Philatelic Society) and Duminda Amila (a past pupil of Trinity College and a keen philatelist).
The workshop began at 10am and ended at 1pm. Many interactive activities were included in the workshop which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
