To celebrate 35 years of excellence, a special cover was released on 21st October 2023.
Ilma International Girls’ school was established in the year 1988 by the visionary, Late Mrs. Rasheeda Mohideen and the Ilma Educational Foundation (IEF), to provide a holistic education in the English medium to the girls of the community.
Over a period of 35 years, the school has grown immensely, achieving academic feats in both the Sri Lankan and British curricula, whilst offering modern technology and amenities to its students. IIGS continues to fulfill the founders’ vision, thereby paving the way for many more professionals to walk out of the hallways of Ilma.
