A must visit place for any stamp collector in Sri Lanka and international collectors alike. This Museum houses many of the hard to find (rare) stamps.
The Historical Mansion Museum is a Dutch house that has been restored and is located on Leyn Baan Street in Galle Fort. The museum is owned by a long-time Galle Fort resident and may be the country’s largest private museum. It also has a Dutch well in the courtyard that dates from 1763.
The owner was generous enough to share us with some of the items being put up with regard to philately.
