Declaration of Independence 10th Feb 1948

A stamp was issued to commemorate the ceremonial declaration of Independence of Sri Lanka which occurred on 10th February 1948.

The stamp was the idea of ‘Kiyanawa Muddara’ founder Samantha Niroshana Peiris.

A stamp, First Day Cover, Miniature Sheet and Miniature Sheet First Day Cover were issued.
