31st October 2023 marks a new chapter for philately in Sri Lanka with the very first registration of an association for philately in Sri Lanka.
Numerous clubs existed for over 45+ years but this is the only legally registered association in Sri Lanka. The focus of this association is primarily for resellers (dealers) but may expand to other areas.
