State Vesak celebrations was held in Nuwara Eliya and a stamp and First Day Cover was released for it on 10th May 2025.
This was at the International Buddhist Centre in Nuwara Eliya under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The State Vesak commemorative stamp was designed depicting the Sattikumbha Jataka, and a painting of the Chaityaraja of the Nuwara Eliya International Buddhist Centre was used for the first day cover of the State Vesak.
